Courses
During the day the Centre offers a wide variety of courses and activities that help people build their skills and confidence, engage more fully in their community, and increase their chances of paid work. Courses generally run for one term, three times a year, but we also run shorter courses.

Painting class
We work in partnership with Trafford College, the Workers’ Educational Association, Community Learning Trafford, and Voluntary Community Action Trafford, as well as independent tutors and trainers.
How much will it cost?
Most of our education courses are free to those who are on benefits. If you do have to pay and are concerned about costs, then please speak to the office staff. Some of the art/craft courses have a small charge to cover material costs. Ladies’ Keep Fit costs only £1.50 for an excellent hour of aerobic exercise!
Courses for Autumn 2010
Most of our courses have now finished for the summer, but will be starting again in September/October. If you are interested in starting a course in the Autumn, please come to our Open Day on September 14th, where you can meet the tutors and Centre staff, decide what course is right for you, and find out how to enrol.
Here is our Provisional Timetable for Autumn 2010.
As well as the courses shown on the timetable, we sometimes (depending on demand) run courses in ESOL with Citizenship, Life in the UK (test preparation), First Aid, Food Hygiene, DIY, Assertiveness and Confidence Building, Desktop Publishing, and Bollywood Dancing.
Please contact us if you have any questions, or if you have a suggestion for a new course – if enough people are interested we may be able to provide it.
