During the day the Centre offers a wide variety of courses and activities that help people build their skills and confidence, engage more fully in their community, and increase their chances of paid work. Courses are usually either 2 hours or 4 hours per week, and vary from 6 weeks to a full year.
We work in partnership with Trafford College Community Learning, the Workers’ Educational Association, Talk English, and independent tutors and trainers.
Our courses have finished for the summer, and will start again in September. The draft timetable is available here.
You can enrol for any of our courses at our Open Day in September.
If you would like to receive email updates on our upcoming courses, please go to the Homepage, enter your email address and click on the “Subscribe” button.
Let us know if you have a suggestion for a new course – if enough people are interested we may be able to provide it.
How much will it cost?
Most of our education courses are free to those who are on means tested benefits. If you do have to pay and are concerned about costs, then please speak to the office staff. Some of the art/craft courses have a small charge to cover material costs. Women-only Keep Fit costs only £2.00 for an excellent hour of exercise!
