Coronavirus – Centre Update
Last updated: 15:30 Thursday 8th April 2021
From April 12th until at least May 17th, England will be in Step 2 of the Government’s “roadmap” out of lockdown. You can see details of the current restrictions and the planned changes here.
We are continuing to be a Trafford Community Response Hub, providing food parcels, shopping, prescription collections, wellbeing calls and other support.
If you need help, advice or support because of Coronavirus, please call this free number:
0808 278 7803
Until at least 17th May 2021:
Our adults’ exercise classes and evening groups will remain closed.
Most of our courses will remain suspended, or will continue online. The following courses are returning to face-to-face learning:
- Functional Skills English
- Functional Skills Maths
- Painting with Watercolours
- Improve your Drawing Skills
Please check with your teacher, or contact the Centre if you are not sure what is happening with your course.
The Centre will be closed to the public. Please don’t come to the Centre in person unless you have a place on a course.
Our office will be open 9.30am-4pm. You can call us on 0161 872 7795 or 07842528967, or email email@example.com.
If you are interested in hiring the hall for a date after restrictions are lifted, please contact Diane Browne on the above email/phone number.
The Bread and Butter Thing is operating as normal from St John’s Church (next to the Centre) on Mondays.
Food bank vouchers will be issued through the Helpline number above.
Please see our Food Donations page if you would like to donate food or household supplies for us to distribute to people in need.
We still need volunteers to help with our Hub work, especially delivery volunteers with cars or cargo bikes. If you would like to volunteer to help Trafford residents, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
