First Steps to Fitness

First Steps to Fitness is a gentle way back into exercising and socialising after lockdown, led by Polly from Be Bolder and supported by St John’s Centre’s volunteers.

It includes 45 minutes of chair-based exercise to get you moving, followed by a chat over a cup of tea and a piece of home-made cake.

Thursdays 2.30-4pm

Sessions are free and open to anyone over 50. There is no need to book, but you can contact the Centre if you have any questions.

First Steps to Fitness received £500 in May 2022 from a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Neighbourhood Trust. Postcode Neighbourhood Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups.
