First Steps to Fitness

We have been given funding by Ambition for Ageing to run some free, friendly sessions to help older local people get back into socialising and exercising after lockdown. If you are over 50 and live in Clifford Ward, we invite you to join us on Thursday afternoons for some gentle exercise, a chat, and some tea and home-made cake! Community Interpreting for September

We will be offering a Level 2 qualification in Preparation to Work in Community Interpreting at the Centre this September. This course is suitable for students who wish to gain knowledge and skills of community interpreting, including the role of codes of practice and learn about the settings where interpreters may be required. The course will be on Mondays 10.30am-2.30pm for 11 weeks, starting 13th September. The course is free if you are in receipt of certain benefits. Assessments will…
