We generally have several ESOL courses and conversation groups running at St John’s at various levels, in association with the Workers’ Educational Association (WEA) and other providers.
In the academic year 2024-25, the WEA will be holding accredited Entry 1 and Entry 2 courses here. Please note that these courses are only open to people who are not working.
A&T ESOL will be offering regular free ESOL and Employment courses for Trafford residents. Registrations for the next 12-week course are on Friday 21st March 2025 at 12 noon. Contact the Centre to book a place.
We also have our open access, volunteer-led groups, which are free and open to anyone at any level.

You can also contact the Trafford ESOL Service for an assessment, and information about other ESOL classes in Trafford borough. They hold a drop-in session at St John’s Centre from 1-3pm on the fourth Tuesday of every month if you would like to talk to someone in person – no appointment needed.
