If English is not your first language, then this course will help you to improve your confidence with the English language, pass your driving theory test and understand the UK road system and rules.
We will introduce the rules and regulations of driving and the Highway Code. You will learn about the different parts of a car and their uses. We’ll also look at how to book your driving theory test and what to expect. You will also complete a mock test to assess your progress. The tutor will give you feedback and advice on how you can improve your performance.
You will also need a minimum of Entry 2 or 3 English to participate in this course. If you have not already had a skills assessment to check your English level, we can arrange this.
This course is only open to people who are not working. It is free to learners on means tested benefits.
