Design for Publishing

Learn to create effective posters, leaflets and newsletters in our new Design for Publishing course. Thursdays 6.30-8.30pm from April 20th 2017 The course will be based on Scribus open source software, which is free to download. Cost £40.80 for 12 weeks, or free to learners on means tested benefits. Craft Jewellery Course

Learn a variety of craft techniques including felting, paper bead making, crochet and air dry clay – then use them to make beautiful jewellery to keep. This 12 week course runs on Mondays 1-3pm from February 27th (term time only). Course fee is £40.80 (or free if on means tested benefits), plus £1-2 per week for materials. Limited creche places are available for children aged 6 months – 5 years, at £2.50 per child per session.

Step into 2017!

Our Keep Fit teacher, Beatriz Lazarus, is starting a new women-only Step Aerobics class (due to popular demand! – and with funding from Awards for All). Sometimes it can all seem a bit too much or is difficult to understand. St. John’s is used to helping people sort things out.
