If you’re thinking about working in childcare, this Level 1 Childcare course from Trafford College is a great place to start.
Tuesdays 10am-2pm from 18th April – 23rd May 2023
You will examine the key stages in a child’s development, look at factors that might affect the behaviour of young children, and identify ways to support the social, emotional and psychological needs of young children. By the end of the course you will:
- Know the range of settings in early years provision;
- Understand the key services offered in the different types of settings;
- Know the roles, responsibilities, and possible career routes in early years settings;
- Understand the core skills required for work in early years settings and plan for a career.
Learners must have written and spoken English skills at Entry 3 or above.
Free to learners in receipt of income dependent benefits, or who are working and earning less than £20,888 per year.
