If you’ve got an idea for improving Old Trafford, you could receive a £250 grant to help make it into reality.
St John’s Sunshine are the local co-op which owns the solar panels on our church roof. As well as providing free electricity to the Centre, they receive money from the government’s Feed-In Tariff. They use some of this to give small grants to local groups every so often, and bring a little bit of sunshine to Old Trafford!
This is their sixth round of grants, and grants of up to £250 are available to people who live and/or work in Old Trafford. Residents who’ve clubbed together (two or more people), voluntary groups, community organisations, local charities, schools, and other groups can all apply, as long as their aim is to help people, communities and/or the environment in Old Trafford.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Friday, March 31st 2023, and successful groups will be notified the following week.
