This year we are running our Summer School for 4 weeks of the school holidays for children of 8 and over.
We will be running activities and trips out for 40 children a day from Monday-Friday. We will also be making lunch for them each day (we are part of the Holiday Hunger scheme).
Help to run activities
We need 4 volunteers each day to join the paid staff team to help run activities.
You will be working with us 9.30am – 4pm (some days earlier). We only want people who can commit to a full day.
You choose which days, and how many days, you want to volunteer.
Help to cook
We need volunteers to work in the kitchen and make lunch and tidy up.
We need to make about… 50 lunches each day for children & staff.
You need to be able to come in in the morning to make food, and clean up afterwards – then you can leave.
What we can offer
We can pay your expenses of up to £5 per day.
We can offer you an enhanced DBS as a volunteer (if you apply and are accepted by the first week in July).
You will be busy, but it will be fun.

Week 2 = Mon 5 Aug / Tue 6 Aug / Wed 7 Aug / Thur 8 Aug / Fri 9 Aug
Week 3 = Mon 12 Aug / Tue 13 Aug / Wed 14 Aug / Thur 15 Aug / Fri 16 Aug
Week 4 = Mon 19 Aug / Tue 20 Aug / Wed 21 Aug / Thur 22 Aug / Fri 23 Aug
