Giving Tuesday 2021
Join St John’s Centre this Giving Tuesday
We invite all our supporters to give generously on November 30th, world day of Giving Tuesday, and every Tuesday leading to Christmas.
Please help us make life a little easier for those who struggle with money, health problems and loneliness.
Our goal this year is to raise £1,000 to ensure those in need, their children and families, enjoy Christmas with dignity, a gift for the kids and basic necessities.
History of Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to encourage people to do good. It was born in New York City and in 9 years.
it has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, work together, and celebrate generosity.
Like St John’s Centre, it aims to place generosity at the heart of society where it becomes part of everyday life, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give.
It is a movement that reimagines a world built on shared humanity and generosity. This means that gifts of voice, time, talent and money can unlock dignity, kindness and equity around the globe.
Join St John’s Centre in making the suffering of others as intolerable to us as our own suffering. Please donate generously for Old Trafford families in need this Christmas.
