Gentle Exercise

First Steps to Fitness is a gentle way into exercising and socialising, led by local fitness instructor Doretta and supported by St John’s Centre’s volunteers.

It includes 45 minutes of chair-based exercise to get you moving, followed by a chat over a cup of tea and a piece of home-made cake.

Sessions are free and open to anyone over 50.

You can exercise standing or seated, or a bit of both, and work at your own pace. If you are not able to exercise without help, we ask that you bring a friend or carer to support you through the session.

Every Thursday 2-3.30pm 

There is no need to book, but you can contact the Centre if you have any questions.
